RESPONSE TO CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019 (COVID-19) Many guests are probably wondering whether they should still travel during this extended spring break season. In order to make a more informed decision, we thought it would be helpful to offer information about how we will work to protect our guests.
Because we are a small property in a fairly remote location with rooms that have individual outdoor entrances and as a small motel without a restaurant, we are exempt from closure under the State of Wisconsin DHS Emergency Order #5 . We will remain open and will continue to serve our visitors unless it is determined by local and/or federal agencies that it is in the best interest of the community to close. Here are the precautions that we have stepped up to protect our guests:
Rooms are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between stays, which includes laundering of all linens and disinfecting of all hard surfaces above and beyond ATCP 72.11 industry standard requirements. Stay over service has been suspended until further notice. We are glad to replenish any room supplies upon request. Continental breakfast is suspended and we will have coffee and tea stocked in the rooms. The lobby will remain closed during your visit and we can provide check-in with limited or no physical contact. There are local restaurants that can provide carryout or delivered meals and we can provide a listing for these businesses. It is our hope that these precautionary measures will provide a safe environment for our guests and limit social contact. Despite all of our efforts to provide a safe environment, we understand that some visitors will not feel comfortable traveling and we respect that decision and hope to host your next visit. From our family to yours, we wish you good health and peace during this unsettling time.
